The illustrations of the witch at the grocery store and moving furniture into her house remind me of Merlin's object-moving in The Sword in the Stone. Of course, everything seems to remind me of The Sword in the Stone.

So far I've been posting images from my vintage children's books, but today I thought I'd feature one of my "adult" books. I'd seen images from Handmade Houses floating around on blogs / pinterest (particularly the first image - with the bed), so I was excited to find a copy of the book they came from.
